Wink Nothing can beat this...

little gizmo in its price/size range.
It's awesome having it following you around the house while you could have an idea for a riff or song and before falling asleep, it's a good mate beside your bed.
And it's loud, believe me it'll surprise you and for only 100 dollars you can't even complain about about its cheesy name :lmao:
Well for you who are searching for a small and very cool practice/composing/recording amp, I hope my sound samples will give you an idea how this little beast sounds :awesome:

Very cool review!!! I really enjoyed your song 'pack of rabid dogs' - you are a great player Treva! Did you play live drums on that track?

I have a Vypyr 30 (posted a review on this site) and they are great little amps...and you have been able to dial in some great sounds with yours!

lol....pretty amazing that a vypyr 15 only costs about $100...my vypyr 30 obviously doesn't compare against my Legacy head and 2x12 cab but it's hard to grumble about a vypyr at that price

My response was more a joke directed at 6fingers. He normally bashes amp modellers and solid state amps, and pushes Mesas almost religiously.

bwahahahahahahahaha what could I do, mesa tone is in my veins!

Well I always said I have nothing against modellers, what I hate is companies selling them saying you have the sound of all amps you want there. Then people buy them and keep coming to forums asking how they could get a Vai/Petrucci etc tone. They can't cause it's impossible, amps sound like amps and modellers sound like modellers. Or maybe all famous players should exchange their EXPENSIVE rigs for a pod? Why don't they do that already? Maybe because they're dumb

I always said modellers are amazing tools for practicing and composing expecially in a country like mine where border taxes are unbelievable high, 99% of players here play modellers. So my problem is not against modellers themselves but against companies that spread lies. Everybody who already put a mic in front of an amp and recorded knows that sound is not inside of a pod, it's impossible cause different things sound different, amps can't sound like a pod and pod can't sound like an amp. Even 2 pods or two amps with the same model sound different.

Modellers are amazing tools to devenlop a player technique and musicality but never to get other gear sounds but I do hope someday I'll get a mesa tone out of a pod but not now.

Thanks bro!
Yes I played drums there. Only in Circles I created a loop because Satch used a loop too.
Thanks for watching

Just asking, doesn't Vai and Petrucci already use modelers?

If a recording-practice-composing amp is the mather, I would buy a Deluxe reverb reissue with my eyes closed. An all time recording amp.

I like real amps, that sound real, like an amp
