Re: Pedal board/rig advice

If you're looking for a heavy duty, top of the line pedalboard for regular gigging or touring, check out NGM Pedalboards...

http://www.ngmpedalboards.com/

I've been using one for over 5 years and it still looks brand new.

Very nice thanks, this thing looks bulletproof. Just the right thing for a tour.

Re: Pedal board/rig advice

Back on the subject of GT-8s, here's mine:

I use mine in manual mode so each if the number switches can control an individual effect in the current patch.
I don't use the distortions and the GT-8 is wired so the wah is in front on the amp and the delays etc. are in the amp effects loop (4 cable method).
The switches are set up as follows patch 1-1:
1 - delay on/off
2 - chorus on/off
3 - phaser on/off
4 - harmonizer on/off
bank down - long reverb on/off
bank up - selects the next patch in the bank
you have to go out of manual mode to change banks, but four patches seems enough for me.
patch 1-2 has:
1 - delay on/off
2 - chorus on/off
3 - uni-v on/off
4 - pedal bend on/off
bank down - long reverb on/off
The EV-5 is connected to the external controller in and works as a Foot Volume.
The grey box is a 6 input selector I designed, each time you hit the button, the next input is selected (this is what happens if you use 6 guitars during a gig).
The Danelectro graphic eq is for my Brian May Guitar to just add a bit of sparkle (instead of a treble booster).
Oh and the controller is for the Laney amp!
