Placing effects. Is it right?

Ive two new pedals for Christmas, and im not completely sure of how to position them. They are(all my gear):
- Boss DS1 (used as booster)
- Mesa Bottle Rocket (tube overdrive/disto).
- Bad Horsie 2 wah.
- Korg A3 Multi FX.
- Boss Noise Supressor NS2.

Im using it: Bad Horsie-->Ds1 --> Bottle Rocket --> A3 --> NS2. Is it ok?
Thanx.
Urko.

Nop, but the NS2 does. Ive tried this:

Bad horsie-->NS2 --> Amp, and in the NS2 the ds1--> B. Rocket -->A3 too.

I've read where it is good to place your NS2 (gates) airectly after
your distortion box, 'cause that's where the most unwanted noise comes from. That way you still get all the delays n FX you need.

I would go this route :

Guitar---> Bad Horsey->NS-2 input then from the NS-2's send into the DS-1--> mesa--NS-2 Return, then Ns-2 Output--> Korg, korg into your power amp or amp.

You'll want to quiet the distortion's hiss before adding echo and reverb to it, so that makes the most sense. Also experiment with putting the DS-1 before the NS since you're using it for lead boost. Odds are you'll turn it off immediately after soloing. Also experiment with swapping the order of each distortion, one may sound better at the front of the signal chain that the other.

Let us know what you do and how it sounds !

I've alwayz said if you got a good soundman at the board let him do the boost. Hehe, maybe that's just a Kirk Hammett thing though

Thats a BIG if....
Especially if he's never worked with you before.
I always have my lead signals dialed in to boost 1 and 2K freq.'s around +3 db just for leads. I never count on the soundman unless he's someone I've worked with and he knows the songs.

Its done. Sounds the best when its BHII-->NS2--->DS!--->A3 and the mesa in the NS2 loop. Anyway, im seriousky thinking about selling the DS1. Gives nothing to my sound now i have the mesa.
