Planet Waves classic vs. custom pro cables

So Classic vs. Custom Pro cables from Planet Waves...is it worth it to go from classic to custom (along with the price)? Anyone have this experience?

Re: Planet Waves classic vs. custom pro cables

I have a couple of classic series cables. I've owned one for about 5 years and got 3 patch cables this year. Didn't have a single problem. I'd probably like a braid cover for durability sake, but plain rubber is still holding on.

I swear by them, super clear signal and low noise. Mine are still perfect after many years and my entire rig is made up with custom ones.

You think it would be worth the extra $ for customs? I was thinking of the Classics because I'm just a bedroom player with no intentions on gigging.

Yeah, for me it was worth it.
They are almost indestructible on the road, they would be the only leads a bedroom player would buy in a lifetime.

They sound super clean,super quiet,pro.

The classics have a lifetime warranty anyway. If you are just a bed room player don't waste the extra coin. If it were to break you go to your music store with the receipt and the broken cable and get a new one.

At home and for recording I use their Classic instrument cables and haven't had issues, so save the dough.

Re: Planet Waves classic vs. custom pro cables

Awesome, thanks for the replies so far everyone. With a lifetime warranty on both, I could save half the money and put that cash towards a modded Tube Screamer I've been thinking of getting Could be a win-win no?
