Re: Post a photo of your pedal board.

C.thep i think i know what you mean, as long as you get decent connecters it shouldn't be a problem. it works out way cheaper doing it like than forking out for George L's e.t.c.

Re: Post a photo of your pedal board.

I like those solid no cable pedal plugs. simple, cheap and sound really good, plus they keep your board together pritty tight. of course there a little hard to use with different types of pedals with different jack locations. George L's seem a bit overpriced, and the price of Monster Cable are (thank god) comming down a bit.

Even if the prices come down, I still think they'll be overpriced. These days, almost all cables come with lifetime warranties. I get two 20ft cables for $15 at Sam Ash and whenever one shorts out or whatnot, I just walk down the street and get a new one.

Re: Post a photo of your pedal board.

not a huge fan of boss, except their easy to mod. they sound far too "guitar center" for my tastes. eh pedals are really my favorite. they seem to go above and beyond what boss could ever produce just due to their fear of not selling high priced single pedals. not a huge mxr guy but they have some good pedals. dod are just feedback boxes in my mind so i'm having mine modded quite heavily. i like some of the power series ibanez pedals but as well the tone lock ones are nice for gigging as they don't move (controlls)

You can't possibly be running all those pedals in one chain...

Re: Post a photo of your pedal board.

Well with a looper or two he could easily use them all on one board.

Re: Post a photo of your pedal board.

notice I said "in one chain"...to run that stuff one right after another would be rediculous, the signal degradation and tone loss would be unreal.

Please don’t fall for Monster Cables propaganda. You can get better cables from Parts Express for pennies compared to MC prices.

Re: Post a photo of your pedal board.

currently i am running them all on one chain. most of them have been upgraded with true bypass switches and i've got some decent quality 1.5" cables between most of em. i like having a lot of options when i practicing at home and writing but most likely for live i'll trim it down to 10 of em.

Re: Post a photo of your pedal board.

I was gonna say actually that you'd have to have a lot of them with true bypass. that must have cost a fortune to have them all modded.

Re: Post a photo of your pedal board.

it's really not that expensive for the part. and the drummer in my band mods pedals so he does it for me.
