research: satriani amps

i'm curiuos about wich amp satriani uses on crystal planet and on the self titled album (1995). is it the 30th anniversary? a whole bunch of different marshalls? there's not many information about satch's studio gear out there i think...

I have a Guitar Player story on the making of Crystal Planet. Off the top of my head I remember he used a 17 Watt amp made by a guy from New York called Matt Wells (I think) which is something like the 'the loudest amp ever' according to Satch in that interview. I'll look it up.

Oh, and besides that, indeed the whole bunch of Marshalls

On the JS album, he did use a bunch of Marshalls(modded), a Dumble, A Bogner, and that 14 watt amp that was mentioned.
