Rivera guys, some help please.
Ok, I love my Rivera(TBR-1SL)..but I've found I really get it to come alive with a graphic EQ in the loop. It tightens up the bass a bit and helps me contour it the way I want it. Obviously, the base sound is great but it really helps with the EQ.
Ok, As we know we can assign the effects loop to A:either channel, or B:both channels. I only use an eq in the loop so I assign it to channel one, the distorted channel. It has two returns so this is what I'm thinking of doing...give me some feedback.
guitar->wah->amp(effects loop)->A/B switch on pedal board->dual 15 band graphic eq(which would you prefer?)each cable to one of the channels...there should be one output from the eq right? back to the Riveras return.
Or...from the eq two cables from each channel back to one of the returns on the effects loop?
As of now I have a boss GE-7 in the loop I have to tweak for rythm and lead sounds. I want to be able to switch between one of two sounds. Since the loop is assignable I can switch between the two before changing channels so I dont have to do the whole 'toggle' thing.
I'm trying to find the most cost effective form of getting my tone so I can get back to acquiring and customizing some guitars. I completely have the gear bug again and know I've neglected my rig for far too long.
