Cool Roland VG-99

Hi all, does anyone have an idea how much a lightly used Roland VG-99 with stand would sell for these days? I still have the original box it came in plus a carry bag and stand. I have the FC-300 floor pedal board but think I will hold on to that as it works well with Ableton as a midi controller. Any advice on how much the VG-99 would go for would be appreciated.

Thanks,

JD

Re: Roland VG-99

This is an extremely niche product and the guitarists that would buy it probably already have one. Surprisingly, Roland has not improved the VG-99 technology, they have simply incorporated it into their newer guitar synths along with non-synth effects and what not. So, there is someone out there that needs this, though they probably need the MIDI controller too. I would encourage you to find a use for it if at all possible. Otherwise, I think the right buyer would still only pay several hundred dollars for it on a good day. Seek out guitarists with GK-3 pickups installed/built into their guitars because they are the ones who know what it is and can use it to its full potential.
