Is it safe...

Is it safe to use my Ibanez Tube Screamer and BOSS GT-10 with my bass, or is this not a good idea? I really don't see why not, but I really don't want to find out the hard way.

Re: Is it safe...

Shouldn't be a problem.

Wouldn't do it with expensive guitar amps though.

There shouldn't be any problem with using your bass and those pedals. They aren't exactly geared for a bass, tonally speaking, but I don't believe you would fry your equipment. I've used my bass with most of my pedals, wah, distortion, etc. and the signal level is the same as that of a guitar so it should be fine.

Thanks! The GT-10 has some sick synth sounds I've been dying to use with a band!

I hear you! The GT-10 has quickly become my favorite guitar effects unit, and I have used PLENTY of them.

Yeah, I'm getting rid of some other pedals, cause the GT-10 not only replaced them, but made the sounds better, and gave me more of them!

Hah! Never would have thought it would have sounded this good.

I'm really having fun with the sounds though.
