scaling down a bit?

I'm tired of thinking and rethinking gear, and now I'm on to amps. I have always been into the simpler is better routine and I may be clearing some stuff out. To many it may sound like sacrilege to not use tube, and I do agree, however, I do love line 6 and have used them for years. I still have my line 6 original pod pro rack mount...I'm using it for current recording and it sounds SICK! It's a 10 year old piece of gear...can't believe it's been that long. I had that connected to my mesa fifty / fifty power amp and the sound live was unreal for metal! BUT, I think what I will be doing is selling the fifty / fifty and just buying a line 6 spyder IV HD head and be done with it if I'm to EVER play out live again. Sure, I could get a triaxis, which I would love, but then there is the fX deal with that, and probably a couple other racks as well.

This may sound silly but if I try it out and love it (and I'm sure I will since I already have a spyder combo and pod) I will just get that. Anyone know what the selling rate is for a mint fifty / fifty? I never had the money for marshall or anything like that and nowadays I wouldn't have it anyway...little kids in the home, I'm older now, money to be spent in other areas...line 6 will work great and sounds great without that crazy price tag.
