Speaker advice needed....time for a custom cab!!

I am currently in the process of ordering a custom 2x12 from Vibroworld, but am stuck as to what speakers should go in there. I know I am looking for Celestions, and I need something to match the G12M's in my 1960TV. I am thinking about getting Vintage 30's, not only to compliment my current speakers but also because I can get them CHEAP ($89) .

Bottom line, this is kind of important....I need something that will compliment the Greenbacks, but also hold up well to a 50 watt head on their own (which means another set of G12M's won't due). I am thinking about maybe the G12H's....but maybe V30's work better on their own as well as in conjunction with the greenbacks?? Any input is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks guys!

I've heard good things about V30s.

I think that V30s would be a good choice. They are little heavy in the mids and have a strong low end as well and well balanced highs (sounds like a description of a Tone Zone). It should complement and balance out nicely with the Greenbacks you've got, they can tend to be pretty dark. If you get them and don't like them, you shouldn't have any trouble getting rid of them.
