Cool Steve's Special & PAF Pro

Hi folks! I just ordered DiMarzio Steve's Special for bridge position and DiMarzio PAF Pro for neck position. They should arrive at next Wendesday and then my friends dad will install them. So i was wondering how those pickups sound. And what do you guys think about that kind of pickup combination? Btw, i have rosewood board, maple neck, quilted maple top, alder or basswood body and licensed Floyd Rose on my guitar and at the time it has HSH pickup combination so what i should excatly except from those pickups. Thank you!

Re: Steve's Special & PAF Pro

I have read descriptions about those pickups from DiMarzio site, but they sound always little bit different on different guitars.

Re: Steve's Special & PAF Pro

Remember the SS has two coils that sound very different from eachother. So it will sound different if you flip it around. It also means that your single coil sound (assuming you use a coil cut) will vary greatly depending on which coil you've chosen, and where that coil is located. (front or rear)
