boy this page loads slow over my modem connection!
and this won't help any. i've taken a picture of my rig as it is.
i'm working on getting the distortion/processor thing out of the loop. it's not been terribly hard so far with my Nomad  . so far, all it looks like i'm going to need it for are for clean effects: delay, chorus, flange, and the likes.
Well I recently sold off my triaxis-395-gmajor rack and am just playing through a mesa subway rocket combo with an extension 1/12 mesa cabinet.Haven't added any effects and I might not.I'm really liking the sound and its very light! In fact its liberating just playing straight into an amp.At 20 watts, it is very loud.Plus I get that nice liquidy solo sound from the pushed power section.
Hi all, I'm new here.
Just want to say hello and hopefully I'll have a great time here.
I've been playing guitar for 6 years now, so I'm far from being a good professional, but I can play some decent lead guitar in my bands.
As far as my gear goes, I'm only 17 and since I've only been playing for 6 years, so my gear is not very professional; but it works for me right now.
My gear:
Ibanez SA 160 QM > Line6 Spider1 212 (with the FB4 footcontroller)
New guitar is coming hopefully this year. I'm still clueless about what guitar to get though.
Lol. A little too expensive for me. I've been looking at the S470DX, but I don't like the finishes.
I want a guitar with piezo, so that doesn't give me much choice since I don't want to spend more than 600-700 Euro's.
By the way, how much does a Parker P-40 cost in the States? I've been looking at one of those, but here in Holland it costs about 1100-1200 Euro's, and i believe that it is waaaay cheaper in the USA, is that right?
The RIg used to be larger and different. Now it is alot more streamlined and functional.

Hmmm....there's something familiar about that setup...I just can't quite put my finger on it. Wait a minute...oh yeah! IT'S THE SAME AS MINE!
Damn I'm a bad influence on impressionable young minds! LOL
Well...almost the same. My Shiva is the EL24 of course. I threw an original TS808 back into the mix as well as a ZXex Super Duper. Been using my Matchless a bit more lately so sometimes I'll run a Keeley TS9 and the TS808 in that setup.
For some reason, I've become a huge fan of going from my Strat into the TS808 then straight into the Matchless. Been getting some frighteningly good tones lately! The band loves it, sound guys have been loving it, and ramdom people from audiences have actually come up to me and said "Great tone!". Kind of strange, but maybe less really IS more? (Not that I'll be parting with any of my toys!)
