I think it's great for fixed bridge. I think it would be pretty funny on a floater

Re: Tuning made super easy!

Sounds like a cool idea but has anyone here actually tried one?

I'm confused. I feel like I'm missing (or just not seeing) some critical part of this thread.

What's the gizmo we're talking about?

Initially I wasn't clear on it either but when I Googled the topic I found this: https://www.roadietuner.com/

I believe this is the gizmo the thread is focused on =)

Learning how to tune a guitar has its benefits, especially if you are a guitarist. Then again, I've been known to say some crazy things!

Seems like it's a variation of the auto tuners that Gibson recently got rid of. I may not be anywhere near a professional guitarist, never will be, but damn, I can tune my guitar. All by myself. And a FREE app on my phone. $90 seems a bit steep to me.

People are going crazy but for all the wrong reasons & things too often.

The kickstarter photos are embarrassing... hipsters with huge student loans & acoustics who must bust out a FRIKIN GADGET TO TUNE THEIR GUITAR. God how embarrassingly sad $129 tuner gadget for $99 guitars.

I would second that as with the years passing by you -should not, but must know- how to tune your guitar otherwise you have no ears at all.

This tool is a gadget for lazy people that need assistance for everything in their life, I feel old these days, but I'm not even 40 yet and I find this world becoming more and more dumb and assisted...

Heh, we're obviously not the target market. Apparently there is one though--probably the same ones who buy the weird fretboard attachments that fret chords for you by just pushing buttons.
