turned a combo to a head

Well, got around to fixing my crate blue voodoo, new tubes, fresh caps, ready to go. Got my marshall cabinet, so no need for the one 12" speaker really. I've wanted to make it a head for a while, and it came out to be a pretty easy project. Its also a better amp, because this has FIVE 12ax7 tubes, and 2 6l6 power tubes, and 60w class A tube power. They have the 120w head, but they also have a 50w head, that only has 2 12ax7, 50w, and no reverb option.

Im gonna redo the tolex into black, as the blue is kinda weird looking. Im also going to do a black plastic mesh on the front, but for now it's fine. I will also be installing a couple 12-24 watt fans for active cooling.

heres the back, dont mind the toilet paper, used it to set the amp on

Heres the front from 2 angles and the original speaker next to it for size comparison.

Debating on putting the reverb tank back in. It will fit just fine, I just dont know if I want it in there... what do you guys think?

anyway heres what I started with for frame of reference

I have done the same job on a fender amp and it was easier than I though. With the reverb plate you need to be careful because if is too close to the transformers you are gonna get noise. That's what I learned after I did this job.
Anyway, nice work.
