Whammy WH-1

I just got a Digitech Whammy Version 1. Its got a bad 60 cycle hum no matter where I am plugged in. I need to know if there is a way to isolate it besides using the original adaptor or how to correct the hum?

Try a different adapter rated at at leadt the same mA.
