Re: What is the difference between PING PONG DELAY and DELAY EFFECTS?

The delay basically bounces between left and right, hence--ping pong.
A standard delay just repeats in mono.
You'll only get the benefits of ping pong delay when running a stereo setup.

Where do I buy one? I can't seem to find any on the market? And yes I am getting another amp. I would prefer to buy one that sounds similar to David Gilmore's delay used on song called "Run". Is that what he's using?

Drugstores have the best ones!
Some supermarkets have them too but they're worse than behringer.
I heard some musical instruments stores have them but sounds like a myth.

Any music shop, online or eBay.

The model itself is not called a ping pong-it's just a setting on some digital delays.
Look for a delay pedal that has ping pong setting.
Do a Google search, and you'll find tons of pedals.

@ToneGeek--are you planning on recording?
There are plenty of FREE ping pong delay plugins.

Wow, does this go on a lot here?
I hope not.
I intend to spend a bit of time here when classes start again and I have some down time and since I do have 'blond-moments' I don't want to be called names.
I was wondering about the 'ping-pong' thing too, and that's what I thought it was.
Thanks for confirming that for me.
