Why do Pro use tuners?

well, the real question is:
since they have their own tech always checking and switching guitars when needed, why do pro put tuners in their racks?

Isn't it obvious? Because they look cool.

Nothing looks cooler than the lights on a Korg rack tuner when they sweep from left to right. Kinda like a Cylon from "Battlestar: Galactica".

That and, tech or not, sometimes it's nice to have a tuner that is visible while you're onstage. You never know when you may need it.

When you perform its not uncommon to have to check your tunning or to go slightly out of tune every couple of songs. Especially with new strings. No matter how stretched they are.

A little of the topic, but i have one of those Korg tuners and when my rig is muted or when I'm playing it sweeps back and forth (like a cylon... sort of, but not as smooth ). It's amaizing how many people ask me "what's that light that goes back and forth".
