why my cab rattles???

ok heres my problem... I get the same thing when I use my SpiderII 112 combo, and when I use my stack, (SpiderII head with the highend line6 cab)

when I palm mute on my lower strings (A,D (I use standard A tuning)
my amp/cab whatever is causing the sound it making a rattle effect it seems... and the note im using seems to mud out really bad.. is this because the Head cant handle that low of an output? is it that my cab cant handle that low of an output? when I purchased the cab the techy said the speakers in the good line6 cabs were really nice, so Im not sure if that would be the problem.

also, it seems to happen the worst when I palm mute any note on my A,D string down around the 7-10th fret, fret 9 and 8 are the worst

I also just swapped out my stock PU's for two Blaze7 DP700 (neck possition) im playing an RG1527, string guage 10-60

if anyone can help my diagnose this problem It would be totally apprecaited!
thanks in advance!

Your bass settings may be too high! this would usually happen when playing chunky riffs on the low strings at high or even at moderate volumes, check it out that could be it...

Sounds like this may be the case if it happens on two different amps. You are also running two solid state amps, they are notorious for "farting". This is when you get a heavy buzz while playing a low chord. To get rid of this try tweaking your eq a bit.

Try changing pickups as well because low tuned strings put out a lot of bass and a good 7 string pickup will make that bass tight. Also do what they said and turn down the bass. Try getting an EQ. 7 band or 31

Re: why my cab rattles???

its not the screws, those are all tight..

im almost possitive its my bass, but if I cut some bass out of my EQ, than I lose the sound that I want when playing open chords.. I might just have to deal with it..

Nah. Get an EQ. You should only need a 7 band graphic EQ or just a small parametric EQ to get the right frequency out and still keep the balls of the sound.

Check the handles - if you have the Marshall style recessed handles, the tubular handgrip is often loose, and rattles, believe it or not.....
