Wireless Systems - What one do you use

I heard that Vai swears by some wireless system. What one is it and what ones do you use, reccomend or hate.

If you can do $400, I'd get the Sennheiser Evolution 100 series. *UHF diversity, frequency agility, Sennheiser quality.

I have a handheld mic version and it rocks...

I think Steve uses an Xwire XR905.
I use a Shure UT4 Diversity.

I use one of those cool UHF Samson Airline wireless systems. Unfortunately, the mini transmitter won't fit guitars with an angled plug, e.g. my JEM. No bulky pack on the strap, works well, no problems.

I thought they had a transmitter just FOR an angled plug, in addition to the regular one. (of course, who wants to buy 2?)

The Airline' angled plug is for Strat type jacks.
I don't think it may look nice when plugged on a Jem.

Vai swears by the XWire... so far it's the only piece of gear i can come close to seeing eye to eye with him.

There is no better wireless for the money.

I e-mailed Samson before I bought mine and they told me that the strat type and gibson type transmitters would not work with an angled plug (I figured I'd get the straight plug and let it stick out all funny). They recommended that if I wanted a wireless system for my JEM that I go for one with the transmitter pack.
