Re: witch delay?

witch (which)?

Sorry.

I love the Digitech Hardwire DL-8 Delay/Looper, lots of great sounds, and a 30 second loop. Very versatile.

If you strictly want a sweet analogue only delay check out the Malekko Ekko 616, it is very nice. I'm very sad that mine's broken. I must get around to fixing it.

I won both and love their tones.

Re: witch delay?

Ibanez de7 has been my favorite delay pedal. I have my original de7 from when I was in highschool. absolutely my favorite pedal by far, as far as delays go. Most user friendly and has a WIDE range of sound and delay time.

Re: witch delay?

If you're looking for a cheap one, I couldn't recommend any other than the TC Electronic Flashback delay. Something like 7 delay types + a toneprint model which is changeable (downloadable). If you're looking for the pricier side of delays, i'd recommend either the Strymon Timeline or the Eventide Timefactor. Both really well built but it's just a preference thing.

Cheers,
GT

Saw 2 on GC a few weeks ago for 24.99, but I decided the MIJ SD-1 for 19.99 and the CF-7 for 14.99 were better deals...

Bro--send me your shopping list! I see sick deals constantly, and can spot what you're after and send the links. It seems everytime I' on the phone with Ryc, I had just run across some sweet deal that week, and he always laugh at my luck. I also just got that DanEcho for less than 30. Missed a primo UVMC for 1500, a 7621 VK for 299, and a TS9 for 29.99

Re: witch delay?

I'm very happy with my Boss DD-20. What separates it from smaller pedals is ability to save/load 4 presets and digital display which shows delay time. Sound quality is of course great. I only use the "digital" mode, which is hi-fi-ish, don't need other modes. It's got analog, tape, modulated and few others. I bought mine few years ago used for 120$.
If I were buying new I'd look into TC Nova, just because it's newer model, but this is more of a delay pedal than I need.
Cheers

im looking to spend up to 200 for the pedal. BUT that could change if i can justify going up in price.
