On The Workbench with AlaskaBat...

He folks!
Most of you know I build and modify pedals. I figured I'd show you what on the bench right now.
The small gold pedal is an A/B switcher:

This one is the Paul Stanley cracked mirror "Destroyer" pedal I came up with. It goes from classic 1977 era distortion to modern Sonic Boom distortion.

Here's a pic of the "guts" of Ryc's pedal:

This is the "Effects Order Switcher" I was talking about in another thread. It's basically two switchable effects loops in a pedal. I call it the Push Me-Pull You:

Here's a treble booster:

The black and yellow pedal at the top is my Tube Screamer Killer. It's a modified Boss SD-1 that I call the Yellow Jacket:

Re: On The Workbench with AlaskaBat...

This is all about having fun.
Like my dad I'm a kind of guy who likes doing things all by myself, I have a brain so I can learn whatever I want so I'll never pay somebody to do what I can do.
I made all my studio power connections, I painted it, I made its floor etc.
I saved a lot of money doing it all by myself plus I know it was wll made.

Bro why don't you release a modded pedals brand?
Make your own cases and paint them following a line.
Put cool names and sell them on the net.
Next week "WE" could start working on their designs
It'd be fun.

I already sell the straight-up modded pedals on my merchant website. I also offer custom builds on there. I've got a few more bugs to work out on some custom designs, then I'll start building in bulk.

Re: On The Workbench with AlaskaBat...

Boss pedals always looked cute to me but DOD switch was always faster.
I want to release a pedal with this switching system which will be called............Crunch WDM (wood doesn't matter)
The other one will be called = "Stereo I'm AWESOME" cause I can paint 2 pieces of wood

Re: On The Workbench with AlaskaBat...

Awesome Rob, love seeing these things. I actually made a thread for modified and custom build pedals a while back. I'm going to revive it shortly with my most recent build, an Op-Amp Big Muff with custom switching, with an appropriate name.
