2 active 1 vol 1 tone 1 8pole switch help

Hi I'm new here and have an issue wiring my s prestige. I believe it is a 2004. I have a couple questions.

1. The new pickups (Dave mustaine livewires) supply 100k pots and caps. The original has 500k pots and 2 separate caps for each pot. I can find out exactly what they are but question being should I replace them or keep original design?

2. Originally the neck humbucker is split with 2 outputs and bridge only 1 so how do I wire my new set which only has one output. The 8 pole switch's original design seems to take both output and ground from neck and bridge pick up. Also some terminals are jumped. How does this switch work and what's the best configuration?

Finally I am playing a lower B standard tuning with 64-13 strings. Not sure if this helps evaluate the pots/caps . Thanks for the help ahead of time.

Yes you need to use the pots that come with the pickups. You can't split these actives like you would the stock passives.

It will also be easier to get a standard Fender style three way switch too. You won't really be able to wire the pickups you have on a standard five way without dead spots on the pickup selector.

I got it wired with the original switch. It sounds good to me.

I can't post links but it's on my YouTube

Search jim seekford and there's a video of how I wired it
