Air Classic - I was not dissapointed

Having had it in my Eggle Custom (all mahogany) Neck position for a few days,It's one of IF not the sweetest sounding pickups i've heard,No muddiness whatsoever,Plenty of Harmonic's and such a natural sound, coupled with a Breed in the bridge, the middle position is just about awesome :-) and by far and away the best clean sound i've managed since getting my new ENGL

The main concern i had was the pickups not balancing well, but they are spot on,there is no volume drop what-so-ever

I'm considering getting a Red/Yellow zebra Air Classic neck for the comic book jem-a-like i'm doing

I'm hopeing to get some kind of box build for recording in the next couple of months,so i'll be able to give you all clips (with any luck)

Nice. Don't you love it when that happens?

I've got my '59 and JB balanced perfectly, and i just love the difference in tones between the two. I spend most of my time using the neck pickup, but switching to the bridge gives me that extra cut and a flatter, harder tone.

Air Classic / Fred?

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anybody has teamed up an Air Classic neck pickup with a Fred Bridge?
Do they balance well?

Fred has a little lower output than the Breed,So i'm imagining they would hook up very well
