what is it? i want the clickingsound like rusty, but don't tell me to get EMG...

that pickup doesnt give much attack its more warm and middy

As waylay said, an X2N would meet your needs no problem. Or you could try my personal favourite, the Bill Lawrence L500XL. The D-Sonic might suit you too of course.

Hasn't the clinky sound more to do with picking than with pickups?

Yeah, a sharp, hard picking attack certainly helps.

And lets not forget the tone of the amp as well.

Yeah, as a matter of fact, I use my picking styles to either make a clinky sound or more muted. You need THICK plectrums though, 2 mm or thicker. If you pick at the 22nd fret, you'll get the clinky sounds.
