CAP VK7 vs.V87/V77(Vintage) vs. V87/V77(Custom)
hey forum mates, I just want to ask if among the three what's the most suitable for down tuning, Drop G# specifically in 7 string guitar. I am planning to have a pickup on my project guitar and those 3 is my choices,
1.In CAP VK27/VK17, it says that "Designed for down tuning, high output yet clarity in the high end." (RGD7421 stock pickups)
2.In V87/V77(old one), it says that "Warm yet articulate lead pickup with enhanced overtones. Good harmonics without excessive brightness."
(RG1570 stock pickups)
3.In V87/V77(custom), it says that "These pickups are specially designed for capturing more low-end by regenerating a wider tonal range."
In the ads in my country both 1 and 2 are available, what do you think would be perfect for me, please feel free to post your opinions specially for those who have tried those pickups.
thanks in advance!
