Crunch Lab height on RG1570

Hello, I've installed the Crunch Lab F-Spaced bridge pickup on my RG1570, but the pickup is very close to the strings unlike the stock V8 pickup which I had. I measured both and found that the body of the crunch lab is thicker than v8. the metal baseplate under the pickups are same size however. I have tightened the two screws and it has now reached the edge and wont go down further. If I could lower it a littel bit, then the output could be more balanced. Are all Dimarzio pickups such thick? Or there are different sizes?

Re: Crunch Lab height on RG1570

I have never had issues with dropping a dimarzio.. Iv got a few Crunch labs and they drop all the way down flat. You sure you havent installed it incorrectly ? the CL shouldn't be that much bigger and the difference would be not enough to make it stop from being lowered !!
