Sorry if this thread becomes a huge confusing mess, but I need to ask.
I flipped the neck pickup around in the above picture so that it is physically oriented like the bridge pickup. (Is there also a small mistake in that picture since the wiring out of the pickup should be coming from the upper left corner?). Should I have considered my south start wire (green one) as a south finish wire (white one) in order to avoid phase cancellation when the 2nd position of the switch is I used? Not sure if you can understand, but I think there is something going on since that position sounds very thin. There are no loose connections or anything like that I think. Every other position is fine. The correct coils are in use in every position. I tested that.
Please do not advice me to flip the pickup around. I want to understand the connections here.
Edit: And I have also flipped south start (green) and north start earlier (red). Otherwise the wrong coils would have been used in switch position 2.
