You resurrected a thread without an update in 11 years to say "wood has no affect on tone"? Come on man, don't be a troll. Seriously - don't be a troll.

Been debunked, time and time again. Don’t want someone going online in a thread and making a purchase off of something that someone has no idea what they are talking about, making them spend more money on something that makes no difference. Pickups pick up the strings because the strings interfere with the magnetic field. Wood tone is not picked up by pickups, can it effect sustain? Sure. It being thinner or thicker makes a difference, hence why les Paul’s are chunkier, they have a darker tone. It’s a very small difference but one none the less. S series Ibanezs have a brighter tone because of how thin they are. Tone wood is not a thing so please stop spreading misinformation please. 😘

Plus why does it matter what period of time I make a comment? Who cares. The thread went on for 4 years.

Re: DiMarzio Mo' Joe (Higher output version of FRED)

If you've come here to post things like "My opinion is right, and all other opinions are wrong", and what you are state is indeed an opinion, you won't last long here. Take that any way you please. And try not to pick your fights on dead threads.

I hear they love these sorts of "I'm right and you're all wrong" over on The Gear Page, btw.
