DiMarzio pickup color change

Where can you buy the plastic coil covers to change the color of DimMarzio pickups?

I've got a DP166FW (white), and I really want a black pickup.

Can any DiMarzio dealer order these? How much are they for a pair of covers (i.e., one humbucker pickup)?

Thanks.

Re: DiMarzio pickup color change

HUmbuckers can't be changed other than by using the aforementioned bobbin toppers(vinyl) or the solid plastic cut outs that you stick on top. These are only a temporary measure really....... and you should flog the old one and replace if you want it done right.

Virtually all of Dimarzios Single Coils(pole piece or rail type) however can have the plastic cover removed and replaced by an appropriately coloured one.

I stock most of the colours for the single coils..........

Re: DiMarzio pickup color change

The "bobbin toppers" appear to be a stick-on film of some kind. Can you actually order the DiMarzio plastic part (or equivalent) separately? Ideally, I'd like the pickup to be like I ordered the black version in the first place.

Edit: OK, I just saw the response above...
