DiMarzio Pickups for my RG 570

Hello everyone.
I've got an Ibanez RGR570 IPT made in 1997 (But you can find it in 1998 catalogue).
It has: Super Wizard Neck (Bubinga Stripe)
Basswood body
Rosewood Fretboard (Obviously 24 frets)
Lo-Pro Edge
Reverse Headstock
V7 in the Neck
S1 in the middle
DiMarzio X2N in the bridge

I play through an Peavey Ultra Plus 120W (An 10 years older version of 6505+, more versatile with better crunch and clean)

I used this guitar for playing Thrash Metal stuff (Metallica, Megadeth, Forbidden Evil, Testament, etc…)

Now I play exclusive Progressive Metal (DT, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Circus Maximus, Symphony X etc…) and Shred stuff (Steve Vai, Petrucci,Malmsteen,Romeo…)

I don't want to change the neck pickup (Pretty good for soloing over the 12th fret, sweep picking technique and clean tones with the S1 middle pickup).
I want to change the bridge pickup, the X2N.
I need a pup which is full of harmonics, quite heavy (I'm playing Prog, I don't need a monster…), but overall, defined. Ok, X2N is defined but it's too noisy.

I was thinking about DiMarzio Crunch Lab or EVO.

Thanks

I recommend the Dimarzio FRED. It has a ton of harmonics along with a really nice tight crunch. I had it in the bridge of a mahogany S series (sold it) and is just perfect in my basswood RG770. Not muddy at all and did I mention the harmonics just pop. I think I saw a vid on youtube called Tone Zone vs. FRED.

Tone Zone not Air Zone-
The TZ has lots of bass and good mids with good harmonics too.
Depending on your amp tone, it will sound modern or warm.

What about the Petrucci's bridge pickup in his ex signature Ibanez?
Which pickup is that?

The JPM's had a Steve Special in the bridge/Air Norton in the neck

Check out the new Railhammers (www.railhammer.com). I'm testing some at the moment (Chisel bridge and neck). Awesome new idea for pickups, and are brilliant. Crushing, but tight lows, strong mids, and great highs. Check them out. I'll have a review shortly.

Now I'm going to try Petrucci's Pups on my Ibanez
First, I'm going to replace the X2N. I Think V7 is a pretty good pickup for soloing
