Re: EGEN Wiring - Anybody Figure It Out?

Ok, sorry for the faff... This is as close as I can get

If anyone knows any better...
If you want to use this circuit, the boxes at the top represent the two sides of the VLX91 switch, and the squares are the solder tags. The six small squares are the tags of a push pull pot. Then you connect the leads marked "OUT" to the tag of the volume pot, the lead with the 3 lines in a downward pointing triangle is connected to the pot casing and voilą!

(maybe Ibanez know something I don't, (I hope so...))

Re: EGEN Wiring - Anybody Figure It Out?

I was checking over the post #10 circuit last night and realized I also needed to keep working on it - I am still working on it in my free time. Do you think ibanez had a special switch fabricated to increase the possibilities (hence the $3066 starting price tag)?

Re: EGEN Wiring - Anybody Figure It Out?

RG1820X that is a possibility, they've done it before! I couldn't figure out the HH wiring they used on RG's you know with the series and parallel options for the neck pickup until I bought one and reallised the switch was a custom job, not the usual 5 way.
I think my latest diagram works though and gives you pretty similar options.

Still not exactly as Ibanez state for the Egen.
Jim

I tried to reproduce this scheme and was unsuccessful
