Exclamation EMG wiring issue

So I have an Ibanez ART100 i'm working on and I got the Zakk Wylde EMG set in them, but the only problem that I'm having is the wiring from the old switch. Not sure of which of the red/bare or white/bare set got into the bus or not. Plugged the guitar in and have sound coming out, but neither of the volume knobs are working. a step in the right direction would be grateful

Re: EMG wiring issue

i hate the quick connect system. I had one set that i installed and i ended up just cutting the quick connect terminals off and wiring them pickups in the "old" regular way. I recommend you do the same.

If i remember right the color codes on the active duncans and emgs are the same. You can also leave out the second 9 volt and wire it like regular, with the ground going to the input jack and your hot going to your pickup hot.
