Hi guys - I just bought a cheap (£150, and a bargain even i I can't fix this...) and complete Rg2550ex Prestige which has the original middle and bridge pups and a Fernandes sustainer driver in the neck. It has already been professionally routed and has the circuit, battery box and wiring in place for the sustainer. Everything looks good, but the guy I bought this off had cut all the pickup wires including the neck driver (the sustainer wiring to the board looks fine). Without running a meter over it to check I don't know what state it is in, but my question is this, should I even attempt to just repair the pickup wires and wire it up or should I just take the whole lot to a local pro for wiring up? How hard are these things to wire once the standard pickup wiring is sorted out?

well i had one enphesis on had as mine gve up the ghost for some unknown reason anyhow you can get a complete wiring guide from fernandes themselves but regarding wiring as long as you have the conector clip for the neck unit just match the colours up and wire away if you havent got the connetor clip you have two choices wire it directly to the boad (i dont recommend doin this) or cantact fernandes or some hardware store hope this helps and have fun with the unit its great fun to use

they are a PITA to wire but Fernandez has a pdf of the wiring available for download at their website.
