fred//breed pickup question

hello......ive been using the fred pickup for many years and i love it......

i decided to try a different model in my new guitar so i bought a green breed bridge model............its a great pickup but i think the fred cleans up nicer at lower volume and is a little thinner sounding

so i ordered a green fred last night....

my question is do you guys think the breed bridge model pickup will sound ok in the neck.........being i want the fred in the bridge...???

i realize the breed has more output

yeah, well the green breeds suck.
the black ones are much better.

PS: I'm kidding of course, I think the breed/fred combo will work well.

It should sound killer, if you want a neck pickup to match with the FRED better check out one of those new Paf Joe pickups that just came out. Supposed to be "Tubular"!

no idea...maybe it'll be extra tubular if you put the Fred in the neck and the Paf Joe in the bridge.
