Hi everyone, my name is Juan and Im looking into changing the pickups on my rg470ah. I have a pair of iron gear rolling mill pickups spare

I have been told by my father that they are 'not suitable' for the ibanez as it is a single cut guitar. He seems to know a fair bit about guitars, but this seems like rubbish to me, as i cant see the type of pickup having to suit how many uts of wood the guitar has, can anyone help me clarify? If they are suitable to switch with the ibanez inf pickups that are currently installed could anyone give me a wiring diagram as I'm really struggling to find things for this specific rg.

They'll work fine. Your father doesn't know as much as he thinks he does.
Single cut refers to a Les Paul type guitar with a single cutaway horn.
