well i had a different set up it was a p/p vol and 3 toggle switches no tone so i am assuming p/p was a splitter for HB

Re: help with Bill Lawrence L 500 pick up wiring

you can do whatever then. You can do series/parallel on the BL or split it or do reverse phase on one pickup and do whatever with the bridge pickup.

Just nail down what exactly you want and i will get you a diagram or make a diagram for you.

Re: help with Bill Lawrence L 500 pick up wiring

http://www.stewmac.com/freeinfo/i-lawrence.html

that gives you what your looking for as far as wiring the bridge up.

the plus sign will go to the same place on the 5 way switch that the red pickup wire would go to.

so use this diagram as a starting point. Your single coils have two wires, one for a ground and one for a hot. Just look for which wire runs to the switch (that is hot) and which wire will be grounded.

just be clear you have 1 red, 1 white, 1 black and 1 green lead wire plus a bare wire ?
