Help with Rewiring my RG

I'm wanting to replace all the electronics in my RG1570, but I'm confused on the diagram.

Two 500k pots, but what are those small things? I can't find them on

Re: Help with Rewiring my RG

They are capacitors. Your local radio shack will have them for under $1 a pack.

Re: Help with Rewiring my RG

I believe what you're talking about are the capacitors.
They are on StewMac here.

Is there an issue with your current electronics that would make you want to replace them?
I can understand switching out the toggle, but not really the rest of the electronics unless there was a real issue.

Re: Help with Rewiring my RG

I've read elsewhere that if you properly rewire a guitar and replace all the switches/knobs with high quality stuff, you can significantly reduce the amount of hiss and noise in your clean signal. Is there a different pot that I'll need for tone and volume?

Re: Help with Rewiring my RG

Which capacitators do I need? I see two different ones on the diagram.

Also- are these what I'm wanting?
