HELP!! Weird SSS wiring problem

I've been putting together an SSS strat since almost all my other guitars have humbuckers. I Wired in the pickups to the guitar with 1 volume 2 tone knobs and a 5 way switch. Using a screwdriver to tap on the pickups to test if they are working, I tested the pickups. positions 1-4 works as they should (neck, neck-middle, middle, middle-bridge) but position 5 doesnt work, i get no sound despite the fact that the pickup is working when on the middle and bridge together. can anyone think of a reason why?

Can you post a picture of how you have it wired? And/or a diagram used?

I know SSS wiring is simple, but you'd be surprised how easy it is to screw up something simply.

It is odd that it works in position 4 and not 5...

Sounds like you've got a bad switch connection.

Re: HELP!! Weird SSS wiring problem

yup it all looked correct, so i just decided to remove the wires from the bridge pickup and then redo them, and wouldn't you know it, problem solved.
