Question jem7vwh pickguard/ pickup swap

So after looking even more into the cruiser neck pickup i have decided that i really want one. However since the cruiser is single coil sized it will be far to small to fit in the humbucker neck spot. i have heard of the humbucker to single coil adapters that you screw over the humbucker hole, but what im wondering is if that will only work on a les paul type guitar with the routing in the back instead of under the pickguard. if that doesnt work then it looks like i will be forced to find a replacement pickguard in a HSS configuration that fits a jem, and i cant seem to find any at all.

Well they sell the adaptor covers but i dont know if those will work on a guitar with the routing under the pickguard (ibanez jem). if that wont work then i will somehow need to find a HSS pickguadd that fits a jem.

Why don't you install the bridge version in the middle? It would work as a 2nd neck pickup because it gets pretty bassy around that area if you do that.
