Need help with Crunchlab feedback problems!
I'm really having some trouble here and I'd love some input on how to fix my problem. If you just watch the video you can see that in the second guitar I use I have a lot of high pitched feedback. You can hear it in between the chugs at first and then the notes I start playing right after it, it is very apparent. Both guitars I used have Dimarzio Crunchlabs in them and the volume on my axe fx was the exact same both times I played and the first guitar is not nearly as bad as the second.
I even have another RG with a Crunchlab that is almost silent and I've also had a Music Man JP12 which has a crunchlab and that thing was completely silent. I mention all of that because I know I don't have too much gain on my patch and I know its possible to have it be very quite without having the noise gate up ridiculously high.
Just to make sure its not the pickup, I swapped it out for the crunchlab in my other RG and it did the same thing. I've even swapped out the pickup selector and it made no difference. I haven't tried a different volume pot but I have no spares of them laying around.
I've had this problems a few times with different ones of my guitars. It seems like I can narrow it down to my soldering, but I don't exactly know what I'm doing wrong or what could cause this. I use the same method on all of them and two out of the three of the guitars are fine but this one is not.
There might be some stuff I'm forgetting to mention so just ask questions if you have any and think you can help.
Sorry for how ****ty it sounds, I was just recording on the lap top mic and had to have the volume really loud so the feedback comes on. My tone is not that terrible haha
