need help quick....easy question

I'm installing a set of Breeds that came out of a 7DBK in my 550.

I want to split the neck humbucker's outer coil/middle in the #4 position and the Bridge inner coil/middle in the #2 position.

As I look at the guitar standing up, should the Dimarzio logo on the neck pickup be upside down while then bridge logo is rightside up?

Figured it out from the wiring diagram...Dimarzio logos are both right side up. I just hope this middle pickup doesn't give me too much grief.

Thanks Glen.

another question...

The Jem wiring diagram doesn't quite fit here. The single coil is the S1, which has a red, a white & a bare wire.

Right now, the 2 position turnins on the neck inner coil +middle (not quite what i wanted), the 4 position is middle+inner bridge coil (correct) but the #3 position is turning on both inners AND the middle.

What do i need to do here?

You were doing pretty good here all by yourself for awhile. Maybe if I wait longer you'll come back and answer that question too?

Without the diagram you're using or a pic of the guitar I can't figure out why you have all three pickups on in the middle position. It isn't related to the mismatch on the S1 wires vs. the Jem single. If you want the opposite coil on the neck pickup there are a few ways to get that. Maybe a diagram and a picture and I could get you sorted out. The placement of the logos, to me, is all about the phase relationship of the middle pickup, because you want positions 2 and 4 to cancel hum. Are they cancelling hum now?

Thanks Frank...I decided to junk the S1 middle pickup and get a Red Velvet instead.

As for now, that middle p'up needs all the help it can get from the other two - lol. I told Chris's like a garage with a Hyundai parked between 2 Lexuses. LOL.
