Newb willing to learn how to replace pickups

Hi, I need to remove the neck Ibanez Powersound from a 2003 RG320FM (http://ibanez.wikia.com/wiki/RG320FM) and then remove a neck Dimarzio Air Norton from a 2002 Prestige RGT3120 (http://ibanez.wikia.com/wiki/RGT3120). Then I need to install the Powersound into the neck position of the Prestige.

Experience:
I know how to remove strings, unscrew pickups from the top of guitar, screw them back in. Basics are covered.
I have used a soldering iron before, but not with confidence, have only really just watched my dad doing it.
I have a big learning curve, but I need to do this myself, is there a video explaining how I can do this step by step?

Baring in mind that I have no idea how to identify all the parts when I open the electrical compartment behind my guitars.
I don't know what north and south poles mean, etc.
I don't know where the 4 cables that lead out of my electrical compartment go to.

Can someone provide some advice?

- Thank you

A little more info is needed to help. Does the Powersound only have a white, red, and bare wire? Open up the back of the 3120, which wire from the neck pickup is soldered to the volume pot?

RG320 Powersound has blue wire as well.
Not sure about the 3120, guitar is in transit. But the pickup is an Air Norton Dimarzio

The DiMarzio will have 4 leads and a bare. Just follow the DiMarzio diagrams.
In that sticky, there is a chart that describes the Ibanez wire colors.

Yeah sure, ofcourse, but at this stage, I just need to watch someone doing it and see a diagram labelling all the components and wires, and where they go to.

Re: Newb willing to learn how to replace pickups

Check out dimarzio's site, they've got just about every diagram you'd ever need.
http://www.dimarzio.com/support/wiring-diagrams

So does this site:
http://www.guitarelectronics.com/
Use the sticky to figure out which wire is which with those diagrams.

EDIT:
These 2 pages will explain just about everything about wiring:

I'll be putting some new "top secret" pickups in a guitar soon--I'll take some pics and video for you.
