Question PGM / DiMarzio Switch??? Can it do this?

I picked up a DiMarzio 3 way toggle (like on the PGMs I think).
It's a three position jack with 4 sets of poles.

I want to use it with 3 EMGs (81/SA/81)
What switching combinations can I get?

I'm fine with:
position 1 - Bridge (81)
position 2 - Middle (SA)
position 3 - Neck (81)

I'm assuming that having the 4 sets of lugs on it would be easy to get this setup, but I'm interested in other pickup combos and some wiring diagrams of this switch (using 3 pickups, since these EMGs aren't coil-tappable).
Can anybody help me quickly?
I'd like to get this one up and running asap.

Re: PGM / DiMarzio Switch??? Can it do this?

PGMs have standard 5 way switches... (like jems)

maybe youre talking about the lil round JPM switch?

DOH!
You're so right.
I'm a moron.

I meant the JPM switch.
Excuse my error -- this is custom I'm building that's a Jem body with a PGM neck using a JPM pickup switch with EMGs.

Hey 'Jimosity'.
That guitar looks fantastic man! It's nice to see someone make a 'custom' that's not overdone.

I wanted to ask about those JPM type switches. Is there any advantages to using them?(apart from the fact that they look much cooler than a normal RG-type selector!). Is it a three-position switch? Are they particularly expensive?

Thanks! JTM45.

Re: PGM / DiMarzio Switch??? Can it do this?

wow, she looks nice indeed... only its maybe too much blue

i know its certainly not what you had in mind, but did you think about a custom (cause of the pot / switch) white or pelaroid pickguard?

in any case, she looks stuning, love the reverse headstock, too

Re: PGM / DiMarzio Switch??? Can it do this?

Thanks guys,
I'm not a huge fan of pickguards, so since this one didn't NEED one, I wanted to leave it without.
It's a lot of blue, that's for sure, but it's definately a little unique.
Kinda has that old school Paul Gilbert feel to it with the vibrant color.
I typically always replace a 5-way blade toggle with a 3-way blade toggle when I'm using EMGs in my guitars, so when it came time for this project, the same guy I bought the neck from (here on Jemsite) also had the JPM switch, so that made me go that route. Besides, I like those type of switches.
I think I paid like $20 for the switch if my memory is correct (look thru the classifieds to see the ad where I picked up the neck and the switch).
(It is a three position switch).
While I love the Jems, I don't particularly love all of the finish options available on them, so when I can put one together and do it my way, I tend to do something a little different with them.
Here's my other custom Jem that I put together.
(And also the reason I didn't do a pearl pickguard since this one already has one)

Re: PGM / DiMarzio Switch??? Can it do this?

again, WOW!!! thats just beautiful? whats the specs? whos making your bodies? are they routed RGs?

(looking at the neck and original edge, this could have been a 550).... anyway, i love EMGs on pelaroid

congrats on two beautiful guitars man

Re: PGM / DiMarzio Switch??? Can it do this?

THANKS!
I painted that one to match my 2002 Mustang GT, so it's "Ford Mineral Grey".
It actually was originally a Jem 777SK (pink) body that someone had repainted white (poorly) that I bought off eBy.
The neck and all other hardware came from fellow Jemsiters, the EMGs were bought new and the pickguard was ordered from Jeannie Pickguards.

The blue Jem body shown earlier in this thread was a repro body that I picked up from another Jemsiter (screamindemon69) in a trade deal, it was NOT originally a production Jem body, thus the lack of typical Jem routing.

The PGM neck seems to be much flatter of a radius and wider than a normal RG neck at first feel, I've not checked the specs, but that's what I feel when I pick it up.
