Pickup Selector Switch help required

Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of renovating a Starfield (the 'classic' looking guitars that Hoshino produced) and need to find a selector switch that will produce the same tones the original did as the previous owner changed the 5 way for a three way.

The guitar has a pair of generic humbuckers, both with 2 wires plus the ground and the switching is the same as it would be on an RG620, as well as most other Ibanez guitars with 2 HBs and a 5 way.

Could someone please tell me the model of switch I require and where I can purchase one from.

Thanks in advance.

I love those Starfield Cabriolets.

Isnt this just a regular Ibanez switch? Since they used Ibanez pickup's?

Yep, I like the Cabriolets too. I've got two of them.

It should be a regular Ibanez switch. I checked out Rich's site but he's out of stock.

It would be handy if I could find a supplier in the UK. I can get Allparts bits over here, but don't have a clue as to which particular switch it is.

I've been playing for years, but I've only just started tinkering with the insides of guitars and had a LOT to learn

I've got switches on the way right now.

I have no idea what they used in the Starfields but the common switch at the time was the YM50.
