Any rate. What I have recently learned about caps. If you keep the treble all the way UP, changing caps is pointless.
All they do is determine how much treble you lose when you turn the treble DOWN.
Funny, but I can never seem to get ENOUGH treble, so I never turn them down.
So - in reality I don't need caps at ALL.
I'll almost certainly put one in but just wondered if I was alone in this.
Marshall 2204 with several different -mostly Ibanez- guitars. ts808.
V1, V2, Mo Joe, PAF Joe and the like...
Then again, I almost always play the neck pups ONLY. I like the fuller grind in em.
Maybe playing the bridge pup and turning down the treble WOULD work...

But yes, for what I have read, caps are all about how much treble to lose...
With 20+ guitars I only recently found that out.
