PRS Signature Limited wiring - very clever

I've got a PRS Signature Limited to play with for a few weeks. Have you guys seen this thing? It has a really clever pickup switching system. Two humbuckers, each with a coil split switch, and when you switch to single coil mode it turns off one coil while adding extra winds to the other so the output doesn't drop between humbucker and single coil modes. It sounds killer. Haven't heard of this being done before.

I guess technically what they've done is overwound one coil then tapped it short of its full output when in humbucker mode, and restored its full windings when in single coil mode.
