pup-height and wiring trouble 2020x

hi there!
I'm about to change the pups on mye 2020x to an air norton in the neck and an evo in the bridge.

first off, the wiring in there is enough to cook my brain 5 times over... can I use a standard Ibby 5-way Dimarzio Hum/hum diagram if I don't touch the piezo?

AND when i put in the evo it's WAY high, caused by an elevated piece beneath the pup.

any pointers?

Some DiMarzios (usually the high power ones) are taller than others. With some guitars, you basically have to bottom the pickup in the cavity and it's still pretty high.

You could try putting a larger shim in the neck pocket to raise the bridge a bit.

I could answer in norwegian, but lets do that by PM if necessary.
An evo in the bridge needs routing on the bridge pickup cavity. A tonezone would be fine.
You will need to rout out where the ears of the pickupbase is as well.
A wiring diagram for a RG3120 or similar will do. as long as it has the vlx91 switch.
Note that there are differences between the wiring diagrams and which of the four sides of the vlx91 that is used.
