Push-pull pot with Evolutions

I didnt know if I should put this in mods or here in pickups but I put it here.

In order to save money and not buy yet another guitar (and the fact I dont play my 350 that much) I decided I wanted to put a push-pull pot in this guitar. It has Evo 1s in neck and bridge and evo single and I know Steve Vai himself has used a push-pull pot before, but has anyone here used a push-pull pot with Evos? What did you think of it? How did you like the single coil mode?

I just want a little advice before I go and do this. I was thinking of buying a Fujigen Alder body strat but I figured I have one good guitar here that doesn't get enough loving and wanted to do something special just for it

+1 on this.
My RG1550 has Evo 1s and I love them as-is, but I also really like that full single-coil neck position sound I get when I play my boyfriend's Strat.
Simply can't get that with the humbuckers in my guitars and was wondering how close I could get to that sound by adding a switch to have just one of the coils all by itself.

The RG2750QV has a push pull pot in it but it doesn't use the V series pups. I liked em sorta, wasn't the sound I was looking for at the time though.

I want my 350EXZ to be something special because that was my first Ibanez with a wizard neck and it's a very sentimental guitar for me. The fact I dont get to play it that much anymore really upsets me because it's such a reliable axe. The neck is thicker than my prestiges but that gives it a really nice feel when playing.

Part of the reason this guitar is so important to me is that when I only had it and my GRX40, I was leaving my guitar lesson one day and the plastic strap broke on my gig bag. it fell on the ground and got a nice dent on the bottom of the guitar. When it was in being serviced to fix the bridge (it got pushed into the cavity when it hit the ground) I felt so bad I was almost in tears for 2 days. I hurt my baby and even as I type this I get a little teary eyed. I love that guitar and while it would be the odd man out of the guitars I have, I never want to sell it. It's too special to me.

That's why I really want to know about Evos in single coil mode. I want this baby to be one of the most important guitars in my arsenal.
