Replacing V2 with Super3

never done this before, looked through various diagrams and maybe got some of it all.

Anyways, probably a lot of you here have done this 100 times so just help me understand what goes where. I imagine, wire colors may differ... and this is where confusion starts.

Operation - replacing V2 with Super3! Since it's rg550... getting it done with one try is pretty important.

Re: Replacing V2 with Super3

Dimarzio colors: RED - Hot, BLACK & WHITE, solder together into the split lug. Green and bare to ground.
V2: Red - Hot, white is connected to the split lug, bare is ground.

There is a wiring diagram on
Look up RG550 in 94, I guess that will do it.

Good luck

Re: Replacing V2 with Super3

so i finally summoned enough bravery and did pickup change myself. 4th time did the trick.

now i have dimarzio super3 in bridge position and ibanez super F7 in the middle. they work great together... a blind luck. V1 and super7f also work great together but now i understand V1 has to go too.

installing superF7 was a bit confusing since it was the white wire that had to be soldered do switch and red one & ground to the volume pot.
